Bufflehead Stills and Video with Nikon D90

I shot these buffleheads doing their thing(s) on the Ten Mile River estuary and in Noyo Harbor in Mendocino County, California in February 2009. I was learning how to use my Nikon D90 including the video mode -- hand held using a 70-300mm lens at 300 with Vibration Reduction. The still images are heavily cropped. The video was shot in HD, but not uploaded to YouTube in HD. I especially like the way the buffleheads land in the water with their chests all puffed out as they ski.
